About Aleca Home Health:
Aleca Home Health is a rapidly growing Home Health agency serving patients across the Oregon area. We pride ourselves on being a Medicare & CHAP certified Home Health agency committed to providing "Care with Compassion" to our community. Our comprehensive services include nursing, physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy, social work, and home health aides, all delivered in the comfort of our patients' residences.
Role Summary:
As a Home Health Account Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the company's census development and market penetration. Your primary objective will be to ensure high admissions for our Home Health team by cultivating strong relationships with referral hospital personnel, surgeons/physicians, medical groups, and other healthcare partners. We're especially seeking sales professionals with a proven track record of success in Home Health sales.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years of sales & marketing experience in a related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in medical practices, terminology, and procedures, along with a thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to home health.
- Basic clinical assessment skills preferred.
- Knowledge of reimbursement systems, managed care, commercial healthcare contracts, admissions processes, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and insured vehicle in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities:Call on physician offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, group homes, and other healthcare locations to market and educate stakeholders about services with the goal of obtaining referrals for appropriate patients. Meet and exceed goals of ensuring all targeted contacts in the assigned territory are aware of divisions, locations, and services. Attend and participate in special marketing events, such as trade shows, industry events, or vendor fairs. Assist in developing a market plan using data to aid in defining and meeting goals. Examples of data include the following: Identify, create, maintain records and follow-up on all relevant contacts and influencers of referrals in an assigned territory. Assess patient referrals to facilitate the admission process between the discharging hospital and the receiving Sant entity. Provide education to prospective referral source, patients and family members on Sant services, explain what to expect and answer any other questions about the referral, care delivery and discharge processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B healthcare sales and business marketing required. Related experience representing hospice preferred. Knowledge and understanding of post-acute services including Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), Home Health, and/or Hospice preferred. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance meeting minimum State requirements. Clean Driving Record Class 1 Fingerprint Card or ability to obtain one. High School or GED equivalent required.
