As we grow, we seek new team members eager to collaborate and advance our mission of becoming a best-in class IT organization at the world's premier airline This position is responsible for building strong business understanding and relationships to enable the delivery of technology solutions that deliver the intended business value in the spirit of the Agile Scrum Methodology. The Technical Product Engineer's primary responsibilities are to prioritize features according to business value as wells as the user stories into an ordered backlog. They will also participate in Sprint ceremonies like Inception, Future State, Alignment, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, User Story Writing and Refinement. It is important that they also establish and maintain effective partnerships with the Business and IT product teams. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills to transform data into insights, distill requirements, and develop processes. They will also be able to define clear, easy-to-digest metrics that resonate with the business. While a deep knowledge in Crew products and applications is not necessary, previous experience will be a plus. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, business maturity, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities including but not limited to: Responsible for conducting sophisticated and detailed research of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/intent of the assigned products Work with Product Manager, and SMEs to prioritize feature development, based on the business value Elicit and create initial epics/features and elaborating into user scenarios that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements Deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc Collaborate with a multi-functional teams inside a Scrum framework Conduct work sessions and document new features, requirements, and strategies. Perform testing, track bugs, enhancements and ensure issues are resolved before promoting to production environments. Able to work on multiple initiatives and balance constantly evolving priorities. Use data and analysis to convey solution impact and to support process driven solutions. Develop business logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decision support models and tools. Construct problem statement including problem description and improvement measures. Drill down beyond the problem surface to understand root cause. Logically structure recommendations and supporting data to formulate a solid, logical and understandable business reason. Supply guidance to project planning and effort estimation within scope. Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) 7+ years of hands-on experience Solid understanding of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery Solid understanding of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production Solid understanding of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project Strong written, oral communication, and social skills Must have excellent planning and organizational skills, strong verbal, written communication and facilitation skills. Willingness to become subject matter expert for your applications and take ownership for its development and performance. Flexibility to adapt and plan for changing business objectives Knowledge of Agile/SDLC development methodologies Airline business experience, as well as business process re-engineering and/or extensive experience working with agile teams, is desirable
