We are seeking a strong Technical Product Engineer, who has worked in agile/scrum/kanban environment, partnered with stakeholders in translating product roadmaps into bulletproof technical solutions.

What would you do?

* Help Business Product Owner / Product Manager translate visions into meaningful Epics, features and technical stories so that the scrum team can incrementally deliver. Provides quantitative expertise (data analysis, statistics, forecasting, simulation, and optimization). Also take charge of planning and creating the necessary technical stories for the team, to keep the technical debts balanced.
* Work on a variety of high-visibility IT projects, either in the form of internal development or in conjunction with external vendors.
* Manage risks, issues, and develop remediation plans.
* Analyze numbers, trends, and data to drive new strategies and streamline & automate processes and productivity of the squad.
* Ability to formally report on findings in a concise, understandable way.
* Responsible for providing line of sight to data quality and gaps where issues need to be addressed.
* Assist with managing team delivery commitments and helping to remove enterprise and escalated impediments.
* Manage several concurrent projects of varying priority and complexity, across multiple teams and multiple business divisions.
* Assist Business Product Owner with prioritizing stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
* Assist Business Product Owner with backlog management, iteration planning, and grooming of the user stories.
* Measure and communicate product business value and ROI.
* Willingness and aptitude to identify technical requirements and translate to adequate technical stories (e.g.: API creation, integrations, code refactoring, etc.).
* Lead deep-dive technical analysis sessions, and ensure results are clearly documented.
* Make things happen without frequent management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their manager, teammates or stakeholders.
* Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity and extremely aggressive deadlines.
* Ensuring the team produces continual and on-time delivery of value.
* Drive root cause analysis of production issues and identify resolution and preventative steps. Actively influence the automated testing efforts to achieve 80% = automated coverage
* Mentor junior team-mates to define and implement detailed measurement data, error logging/tracking for all products within our domain.
* Help the Scrum master and agile team drive the recommended practices in the team.
* Act as the bridge between the Business team (product owner and manager) and the developers when there is a gap of knowledge on technology or domain requirements.


What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
* With 5 years + experience as a technical product analyst and has worked closely with product owners on digital platforms.
* Extensive experience defining agile requirements (Epics/stories), including functional and technical in a product/service organization.
* Understanding and usage of agile metrics (velocity, burn downs) to help the team be more productive.
* Experience with root cause analysis and digging into different sources of information (transaction details, logging, customer data, etc.) to understand issue causes and identifying preventative steps and resolutions.
* Good understanding of Engineering practices, some exposure technical platform such as Python/Java/Cloud/AWS
* Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog as necessary.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
* Ability to use Agile/Scrum tools like Agility and Jira effectively.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field is preferred.
* Airline, or Transportation industry experience.
* Ability to act as a scrum master and/or run the scrum ceremonies with the guidance from our Agile Coaching team. A Scrum master or Product owner certification would be considered as a plus for this role.
