Summary: Support construction activities by implementing the following: planning, organizing and implementing management duties, project controls systems, engineering interface, subcontract and materials management, purchasing and scheduling. Qualifications: Required Experience: Excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects and Experience with Primavera Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, or Construction Management related degree and/or equivalent work experience. 2 years of work experience working for a General Contractor successfully supporting similar key responsibilities. Knowledgeable of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations. Knowledge of web-based project management software tools for managing and tracking projects and tasks. Physical Demands: Dexterity and good motor skills. Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb stairs. Ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands, sitting, talking, hearing, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Environmental Conditions: Noise levels may vary from moderate to very loud. Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (cold and hot). Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. Wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment is mandatory.
