HR Manager

Century Group has partnered with a leading CPA firm who is searching for an experienced HR Manager to join their team. This position will be responsible for various employee relations tasks, administrative and organizational development, and assist with the recruitment/onboarding process of the company. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $125,000 per year.
Job Description:
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations, including (but not limited to) OSHA, EEO-1 reporting, FMLA, and unemployment reporting
Oversees the leave of absence process - including Covid-19, FFCRA, FMLA, PFL, ADA, Worker's Comp, etc.
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures
Establishes and maintains HR records and reports. Ensures the accuracy of employee files, record-keeping, and retention
Compiles reports from the HRIS for EEO, ACA, OSHA, and other required reporting
Supervises employee benefits administration, including the enrollment process, annual open enrollment, change and termination reporting, monitoring and auditing of benefits invoices, and the communication of information to employees
Requirements:
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
Ability to identify patterns of complex risk & liability, challenges and resolves issues, makes effective recommendations on course of action, and understands when to escalate complex issues
Demonstrates current working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations/laws and firm policies
Effective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required
PHR/SPHR preferred
5-8 years of experience working as a Generalist within a Human Resources department or related experience
