Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our culture and values and support our business objectives.
  • Manage and architect a highly effective talent acquisition process, including identifying hiring needs, developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and managing the interview and selection process.
  • Develop and implement an onboarding program that ensures new employees feel welcomed, supported, and prepared to contribute to our team.
  • Design and implement an employee development and training program that supports career growth and skill development.
  • Develop and implement performance management processes that align with our culture and values and that provide employees with regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Manage and lead all aspects of human resources, including employment, compensation and benefits, HRIS and payroll administration, management reporting, and employment compliance.
  • Ensure all compliance, documentation, and human resources administration activities and policies are effective, in compliance with state employment laws, and minimize/eliminate exposure to the company.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage HR data and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR issues.
  • Provide leadership on people-related issues and policies across the company.
  • Manage a team of HR professionals to ensure effective HR services and program delivery.
  • Support an environment of positive employee morale, job satisfaction, and a can-do attitude.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, and culture development.
  • Society for HR Certification or Professional in HR (SHRM or PHR) is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, best practices, and federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience designing and implementing HR programs and processes that drive employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Possess a collaborative, detailed and strategic working style
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience interfacing with executive and senior-level management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively and to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment is preferred.
