What will you be doing?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. They will focus their efforts on sourcing strategies and pipelining talent for future growth and opportunities within Crescent. Duties/Responsibilities: Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process from application to onboarding. Facilitates, and activates sourcing and pipelining processes within recruitment for identified key roles. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job postings. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. Uses talent acquisition tools, including Indeed, Hcareers and LinkedIn to source both active and passive talent for available roles. Screens applications and pre-qualifies candidates assessing their skills & experience to put forward to Director and/or hiring Manager. Creates standardized interview questions and other hiring and selection materials for both field and above property teams to ensure consistency in administration Assists with the interview process, coordinating interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, as needed. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Supports talent acquisition programs, as directed by the Director of Talent Acquisition. Uses networking tools and techniques to pipeline future talent for the Company. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with good recruitment marketing tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with social media outlets to effectively source talent and build CRM of talent Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Minimum of 3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required Hospitality experience strongly preferred Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $35-$40 per hour; for applicants who will be working in Colorado, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $31-$35 per hour; for applicants who will be working in Washington, the anticipated compensation range is $33-$37 per hour; for applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $34-$39 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
