JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for working with department leaders to identify annual budget requirements in conjunction with the Corporate financial planning and forecasting process and to identify ERP, data, and reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Compiles information from around the Company to create a routine cash forecasting process, anticipates cash needs and make recommendations to the Executive Staff.
  2. Supports bank financial structure, executing financing transactions as needed, including bank facilities, lenders, documentation review and covenants.
  3. Identify opportunities to streamline cash collection and cash outlays to shorten the cash cycle; working cross-functionally to develop efficiencies in the full cash cycle.
  4. Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecast process of business operations, including monthly budget versus actual reporting by cost center.
  5. Ensure that budget re-forecasts are in line with the S&OP forecasts on a quarterly basis; providing reporting to senior management to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives in support of strategic decision making.
  6. Work with Sales and Supply Chain performing audits on the S&OP forecasting process to ensure collaboration and monitoring performance against the forecasts.
  7. Provide support in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Evaluates the risk management program to identify areas where the company is vulnerable; working with insurance brokers to secure appropriate coverage that aligns with the company's risk profile.
  9. Conducts assessments to identify and analyze potential risks; prepare detailed reports on risk findings and present recommendations to senior management to mitigate those risks; ensure compliance with industry insurance standards and regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. This is a full-time position; days and hours of work for full-time are either Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day or a 9/80 schedule (4 days @ 9 hours and 1 day @ 8 hours with every other Friday off). Regular onsite attendance is expected. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (R) = Required (P) = Preferred (Equivalent combinations will be considered)

(R) Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or other related area of study.

(P) Master's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.

(R) 5+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or business setting.

(P) 2+ years in an FP&A role.

(R) Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

(P) Proficient in SAP ByDesign (or similar ERP system).

(R) Manufacturing experience.

(R) Ability to read/write/speak English.

SKILLS (LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, REASONING, OTHER)

Financial planning and strategy, strategic planning and vision, promotion of process improvement, forecasting, Corporate finance and budget development.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with general instruction and limited supervision to meet deadlines.

Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across the department and all levels of the organization.

Exhibit leadership, including meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, solid decision-making skills, solid problem-solving skills, project management skills, a strong work ethic and an ability to manage and lead others in a high volume, high quality, fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated logic and reasoning skills.

PHYSICAL / VISUAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in a typical office environment as well as occasionally travel into the warehouse/manufacturing facility.

Requires sitting for long periods of time at a keyboard in an office environment but can also require standing, bending, grasping, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching to perform the functions of this position.

Must be able to safely lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
