Job Description:

Pay Range $15hr - $20hr
  • Dispenses materials needed for production manufacturing as specified in the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Transfers the materials needed for production manufacturing from the warehouse and stages them for manufacturing use in accordance to the production schedule.
  • Ensures material and product maintain an appropriate flow through the warehouse into production areas.
  • Reconciles materials remaining after completion of production operations.
  • Electronically and physically ensures remaining materials are returned from manufacturing to warehouse storage locations.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by ensuring that all material movements (warehouse to manufacturing, manufacturing to warehouse, etc.) are properly reflected in SAP.
  • Reconciles inventory discrepancies between physical stock and SAP stock.
  • Ensure expired material has been removed and support the Expired Material Process.
  • Responsible to work directly with sourcing, material planning and manufacturing personnel to ensure the necessary materials and quantities are transferred and available for production operations.
  • Safeguard inventory levels by notifying planning, logistics, and procurement personnel when materials are observed to be near or below the minimum stock level.
  • Support and performs activities for receiving incoming materials and outbound logistics activities, as required.
  • Coordinates and supports bulk waste offloads, as required.
  • Participates in inventory counts and assists in investigating inventory discrepancies.
  • Performs general departmental duties such as removing expired materials from manufacturing, maintaining inventory levels, and other general inventory tasks.
  • Records daily/weekly/monthly work on required checklists. Attends and participates in shift change meetings and Tier 3 Material Management shift meeting(s), as required.
  • Follow SOPs and Work Instructions to maintain GMP processes.
  • Cross train on applicable warehouse / material management tasks and functions to serve as backfill / area support when required.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned and needed by their Supervisor/Manager.

Education and Experience:
  • ssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from college or technical school; or 2 + years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Haz-Waste Handling / DOT/ IATA Certification is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements (Due to the nature of the job):
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and use arms and hands to push, pull and lift objects.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to handle and move hazardous and non-hazardous material containers using material handling equipment while wearing the specified personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • The employee must frequently lift and the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
