Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies. Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace. Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates. Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form. Improve job satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns, implementing new benefits, and organizing team-building activities. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance. Will be the first point of contact for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs. Monitor employee morale and company culture. Identify future staffing needs. Perform exit interviews and provide suggestions for improvement if needed.
