Scope:

  • Partner with leaders on People related business objectives and polices
  • Support leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees
  • Champion workforce data planning
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leaders on People related business objectives and polices.

    • Provide guidance and ensure alignment on HR practices with business strategies.
    • Collaborate with leadership on legal compliance on People situations.
    • Guide and support leaders through organizational changes.
    • Provide framework and tools for managing change.
  • Support leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees.

    • Use progressive discipline practices to effectively communicate expectations.
    • Lead People meetings.
    • Follow federal and state employment laws in dealing with discipline, unemployment and all other employment related issues.
  • Champion workforce data planning.

    • Partner with leaders to analyze workforce needs and trends.
    • Utilize systems and technology to provide data, metrics, and reports.
    • Collaborate with leaders on people initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

    • HRIS system troubleshooting.
    • Respond to employee questions.
    • Provide project support to the team as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Four-year college degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience.
  • Two years Human Resources experience, preferably as a Generalist.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to work with varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff.
  • Demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks.
  • Must complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
  • Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors
