In this position you will help develop and manage marketing channels to expand and grow new account relations and grow product sales.

Basic Functions: Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products, and customer needs and insights. Execute marketing strategies and the execution of plans for existing products. Serve as a partner to sales and product development to determine the viability of potential markets before the production of a product. Work with product development teams to manage new product development. Manage launch campaigns for new products. Manage distribution channels for products. Ensure effective, branded marketing communications, including the company website, print communication, digital, social and advertising. Manage media and marketing staff and external PR agencies.

Responsibilities:

Lead direct reports with one-on-ones, setting and monitoring annual goals, and establishing priorities. Become an expert in product offerings and unique selling propositions. Understand competitive set of direct competitors and substitutable products. Manage marketing communications across all media. Effectively execute social media campaigns. Recommend marketing and merchandising promotions. Work with R&D on new product development. Understand the pricing elasticity of products in our range and recommend pricing repositions to grow business and increase margin. Manage end-to-end trade show processes. Learn and utilize IT systems and procedures. Customer service, partnership development and customer retention. Help manage and execute tradeshow exhibiting.

Requirements:

Insatiable curiosity Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in marketing, business, or engineering. A four-year college degree may be waived as a requirement if there is sufficient experience. Prior experience in transportation, distribution, or warehousing a major plus. Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 as well as CRM knowledge and experience. Strong project management, organizational and time management skills. Critical thinker and a problem solver. Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team-chemistry oriented.
