Job Description Performs highly complex and difficult civil construction activities by operating a variety of heavy equipment. Responsibilities *Under direct supervision of Project Manager. *Perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring pads for minor concrete equipment pads, structural shelter foundations, tower foundations. *Drilling large depth, small diameter holes with Hilti Coring Equipment. *Civil construction, such as but not limited to; earth moving, Equipment operation, retaining Earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing and painting, FRP and fabrication. *Can work independently making sound decisions on behalf of the company. *Oversee, assist, and provide technical training and review for all work as assigned, including oversee and continually refine, perform safety inspections, stay current on State and local codes and changes, stay current on best practices and products available. *Possesses the knowledge and technical skill to perform all tasks assigned related to the above. *Directly oversees Construction Journeyman, Construction Apprentice, & Sub-contractors. *Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; team building and motivating. *Maintains onsite relationship with customer. *Communicates needs, problems and questions to project management on a daily basis. *Willing and able to work onsite while managing. *Makes good use of time management skills. *Exposure to extreme heat & cold conditions located at but not limited to, busy streets, remote Mtn. tops, basements, rooftops, airports or State / Federal buildings. Technical Requirements: *Must have industrial electrical experience. *Must be able to operate heavy machinery. Back-ho, skid steer, scissor lift, fork lift, excavator. *Must be able to physically operate heavy equipment. *Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment. *Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures. *Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times. Education/Training: *H.S. Diploma or GED. *On the job training as an assistant Civil Foreman for at least 3 years.
