VP of Financial Planning & Audits

Summary of Position: The VP of FP&A works closely with the CFO, CEO, and all members of the senior management team to establish and execute sound processes relating to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, providing solid financial analysis and recommendations to management for sound decision making, and preparing materials for management and Board of Director meetings. Additionally, the VP of FP&A manages the Audit Department. The Audit department is responsible for managing the intake, production planning, release of transactions, and related collections for all Audit requests across the company. The VP of FP&A must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to deal effectively with all levels of management, and have an unquenchable curiosity to identify, analyze, and solve business issues. This position is high visibility and provides an opportunity for exposure to senior management and advancement for a highly motivated individual.

Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare periodic forecasts throughout the year working with management Prepare long range financial projections aligned with company strategy Implement key performance indicators and management dashboards Model new client pricing proposals to ensure target margins are achieved Assist with monthly close and preparation of financial statements Prepare monthly analysis of results versus budget and prior year, including MD&A Act as key business liaison with operating managers Headcount approval and control Forecast compliance with bank covenants Participate in analysis of acquisition opportunities Analyze new product and business opportunities Prepare presentations for Board of Directors Prepare presentations for monthly management meetings Analyze annual medical benefit renewal, costs, plan design, contribution strategy Commission modeling, plan design, calculation of monthly commission payments. Assist with annual financial audit Special projects as required Analyze real estate alternatives Manage FP&A team members (both Finance and Audit) Assist in improving overall operational processes in billing and collections Build & maintain relationships with high volume Audit requestors including signed agreements related to pricing and move them to electronic transfer Live by and promote Verisma core values and assist in implementation of companywide initiatives Minimum Qualifications: BS in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field MBA a plus 10 years in FP&A or Corporate Finance roles Experience managing operations teams a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel
