Position Summary

The Arts Integration Manager is a key member of the Arts for Learning Northwest staff, bringing expertise in arts-integration pedagogy and a deep understanding of best practices in partnering with teachers, schools, and districts. There are two essential areas in which this position will participate: the Arts, Care & Connection project and The Right Brain Initiative.

The Arts Integration Manager will be the project manager for Arts, Care & Connection, a statewide initiative in partnership with the Oregon Department of Education. This project is designed to enhance arts education across Oregon by collaborating with teaching artists to create video learning modules that will be provided free to schools statewide. This role will ensure seamless coordination between all stakeholders and activities, from training and coaching artists to content creation and school outreach.

Additionally, the Arts Integration Manager will play a pivotal role in the Right Brain Initiative as an arts integration coach. The Right Brain Initiative is a collective impact partnership of schools, artists, and Arts for Learning NW to transform learning for all children through the arts. This role will guide schools through the design and implementation of Right Brain arts-integrated residencies, including identifying goals, facilitating meetings, and coaching both school staff and teaching artists to achieve quality arts integration for students.

Looking to the future, the Arts Integration Manager will collaborate with a team to build on partnership work done through Arts, Care & Connections and the Right Brain Initiative to expand elements of our support and services statewide.

This position is hybrid and only requires 1-3 days per week onsite in our Portland office. Some travel within Oregon may be required.
