Facility Rentals and Marketing Coordinator Full Time

SUMMARY:

Facility rentals are an important source of revenue for MBCPR. This position is responsible for expanding and innovating our facility rental program. This person will oversee all aspects of facility rentals; managing facility-use calendars, and coordinating with staff to ensure facilities are prepared, equipped, and staffed as required.

Requirements -

  • Strong background in planning, coordination, and customer service
  • Advertising/marketing experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours. Primary shifts will be Monday - Friday but, weekends and evenings will be necessary at times.
  • Must pass a background check and be a licensed driver

Technology -
  • Must have a device where company apps can be downloaded

Physical Demands -
  • Tasks require the ability to exert light to moderate physical effort in sedentary to moderate work which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 35 pounds)
  • Daily responsibilities are carried-out in a variety of environments including indoor office space, rental venues, and outdoor park locations.
Mental Demands -
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
  • Must be a competent multi-tasker and able to prioritize tasks within a heavy workload.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIESinclude the following:

Rental/Event Management Duties -
  • Manage all aspects of the facility rental program, including processing rental inquiries, coordinating rental agreements, and ensuring rental payments are received on time
  • Communicate needs with division coordinators to schedule necessary staff for rentals and events
  • Gathers necessary details of rental such as but not limited to payments, number of guests, music, food, rules, policies, waivers, and activities then relaying that information to corresponding divisional coordinator
  • Routine observations of rentals to ensure procedures are being executed properly
  • Creates proposals for new rental/event programs
  • Design/propose/communicate marketing plans for growing the facility rental program
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to facility rentals
  • Other duties as assigned
Reporting -
  • Effectively track and report utilization, revenue, cost, schedules and patron feedback
  • Maintain and update facility calendars to ensure accurate scheduling of events and activities
Communication and Adaptability -
  • Provide excellent customer service to rental clients, facility users, and MBCPR staff, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Communicate requirements and duties for each rental/event to employees to help them to do their job effectively
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Five+ years experience in a related field is preferred.
