Job Summary

MBC Parks & Rec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Rentals and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for expanding and innovating our facility rental program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rental/Event Management Duties
    • Manage all aspects of the facility rental program, including processing rental inquiries, coordinating rental agreements, and ensuring rental payments are received on time.
    • Communicate needs with division coordinators to schedule necessary staff for rentals and events.
    • Gather necessary details of rental such as but not limited to payments, number of guests, music, food, rules, policies, waivers, and activities then relay that information to corresponding divisional coordinator.
    • Routine observations of rentals to ensure procedures are being executed properly.
    • Create proposals for new rental/event programs.
    • Design/propose/communicate marketing plans for growing the facility rental program.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to facility rentals.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reporting
    • Effectively track and report utilization, revenue, cost, schedules, and patron feedback.
    • Maintain and update facility calendars to ensure accurate scheduling of events and activities.
  • Communication and Adaptability
    • Provide excellent customer service to rental clients, facility users, and MBC Parks & Rec staff, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Communicate requirements and duties for each rental/event to employees to help them to do their job effectively.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Five+ years experience in a related field is preferred.
