The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for managing the overall construction activities at the site, ensuring that projects are executed in alignment with the design specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with client representatives, engineering teams, field supervisors, subcontractors, and union officials to foster optimal performance and maintain strong relationships.
This role carries the primary responsibility for ensuring that all work conducted at the site adheres to the standards set forth in the Company's Business Principles and Code of Ethics.
Safety Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage safety protocols on the construction site. Actively engage in the safety program initiatives.
In collaboration with the Safety Manager, spearhead the establishment of site-specific Safety Goals.
Assist in the development and promotion of craft employee motivation initiatives.
Implement the incident prevention strategies as detailed in the HSE manual.
Additional Responsibilities:
Define project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks within the framework of corporate policy.
Act as a liaison between the Project, senior leadership of the Company, and the Client.
Oversee and direct project construction and field engineering operations.
Manage interactions with other contractors on-site.
Enhance and uphold the Company's public relations image.
Initiate long-term organizational strategies and schedules.
Enforce Company personnel policies.
Develop and sustain the project staffing levels.
Assess staff performance and conduct salary reviews.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and control of indirect accounts.
Monitor labor resources for availability and adjustments.
Supervise field personnel and manage labor relations.
Review and approve subcontractor bids and contracts.
Oversee the financial aspects of projects and contracts (including fee payments, rental equipment, income/expenses) to safeguard the company's interests while maintaining a positive relationship with the Client.
Supervise project completion activities.Represent the Company and site at both internal and external meetings.
Coordinate corporate functions necessary to support project operations.
As a member of the project team, ensure that all team members are aligned towards a common objective. Encourage collaboration among all team members.

Physical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
A 2-year Associate's degree in Construction Management or a 4-year degree in Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience in industrial facility construction management is also acceptable.
Additional Skills:
Advanced understanding of the construction industry and company operations is essential. Experience in Project Scheduling or Cost Management is advantageous.
