Multi State Farmington Hills law firm with emphasis in Commercial/Consumer Collections and Insurance Subrogation, is seeking a Client Service Specialist.
Client Service Representatives receive and process inbound and outbound communication to Client(s), which require individuals to be educated regarding Client expectation(s)/Client Change Management, as well as the industry as a whole. This position supports certain aspects of the business, by not merely written/verbal communication, but also by supporting logging and reporting activities to maintain a positive relationship with Firm client(s), and conveying claim status updates and other information needed in the course of business. In addition, this position will work on data process and maintenance, file translations, running reports and business analysis.
Candidates should have the following attributes:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excel in business analysis.
- Supervisor will monitor communication to ensure that we comply with Firm policies and procedures. In particular, in regards to their data/physical security and handling protocol(s).
- Supervisor works in sustaining support in the day-to-day processing of materials through liaisons and team.
- Ability to work with Manager to organize training/education of the team.
- Become the reliable point of contact for your customers.
- Be responsible for alerting/notifying Management and/or Compliance immediately of any issues identified or reported pertaining to client services.
- Maintain client level certifications of education and testing in accordance with claim level work performed and Firm expectations.
- Supervisor will monitor communication to ensure that we comply with Firm policies and procedures. In particular, in regards to their data/physical security and handling protocol(s).
- Ability to multi-task, as well as the ability to work in a high volume and deadline driven environment is essential.
- Self-motivated for learning and self-sufficient
- Ability to work in a team environment, and act as a team player.
- Experience acting in a customer service role. Including, but not limited to professional telephone customer service (corporate) experience.
- Candidates should have reliable transportation and be able to work regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Preferred Degree and/or Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience with a law firm or legal department, or;
- Corporate client service relationship handling experience (data reporting, telephone conference handling, contract and standard operation review, client interaction/point of contact for organization relationship).
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organization levels of the Firm.
Required Computer Experience:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Previous experience with the Collection Software - Cogent is a plus.
