The Marketing Manager leads Volunteers of America Western Washington’s marketing efforts. You will drive key initiatives to boost awareness, engagement, and support for our mission. Part brand manager and part social media wizard, this position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for social impact. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in creating and executing successful marketing campaigns across various media. What you will do: Be accountable for successful maintenance and growth of the VOAWW brand Find target audiences, trends, and opportunities that will set us apart Work with the Fundraising Manager to create engaging campaign ideas and messages for target audiences Create and implement marketing plans that support financial goals and reflect our mission and values, and have a measurable impact Promote our programs, services, volunteer opportunities, and community involvement Work with leadership to set marketing priorities and use resources wisely Track performance metrics and make necessary adjustments Work with internal teams and external partners to create unified marketing campaigns that reach diverse audiences on various platforms Engage responsibly, ethically, and appropriately in the use of AI tools and language Carry out other duties as assigned #Voaww1 What you must have: Minimum 2 years of experienced knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing trends with proven execution of impactful social media campaigns Excellent verbal and written communication, a creative mindset, and background with or willingness to engage in traditional media and innovate new touchpoints Interpersonal skills that demonstrate tact, poise, and approachability Passion for social causes and commitment to the VOAWW mission Unflappable demeanor with the ability to pivot quickly and maintain high-quality output Strong work ethic for both autonomy and meaningful contributions to team achievements Means to reliably commute to Everett and/or other service locations as needed Ability to pass the required pre-employment background check Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for special projects/events What would set you apart: Nonprofit or NGO experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 5 or more years relevant experience in brand management or social media strategy Background in storytelling as marketing Bilingual in Spanish or Ukrainian Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design software Familiarity with Feathr marketing platform Volunteers of America Western Washington is a Snohomish County CARE trauma-informed organization.
