**Description**

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to customer inquiries for placement of new orders, pricing for existing products, order status and expediting. The person is the primary liaison between our customer and Dynatect for order related requirements.

**These are the PRIMARY ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES::**

1. Respond to customer inquiries for placement of new orders, pricing for existing products, order status and expediting electronically and via the phone.

2. Transact all order entry functions based on geographic area of responsibility/product group. Make changes in Syteline and FileMaker (ERP and database systems) per internal and external requirements.

3. Create or modify customer contract and pricing per established pricing policy guidelines.

4. Enter quote information into Syteline and FileMaker systems as required for updated or new pricing creation. Insures that all administrative information is correct (i.e. customer name, email address, etc.)

5. Schedule ship dates for orders within established guidelines. Acknowledges to customer via system.

6. Assist in resolving product and service problem concerns between the customer and internal resource.

7. Fill-out and return customer expedite reports.

8. Administer order requirements via specific customer portals. Extract relevant data to process requirements Dynatect internal order management systems.

9. Actively support and participate in meetings, strategic initiatives, group goals and continuous process improvements efforts.

10. Miscellaneous other duties in department and company as assigned.

**MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**: None

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Previous telephone customer service, or sales experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

* Proven record of stable work history and good attendance.

* Accurate data entry skills; prior experience with database system preferred.

* Strong oral and written communication skills, phone skills specific to a call center.

* Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business growth. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.

* Basic algebra skills; ability to work with fractions, decimals and units of measure.

* Ability to judge distance and dimension and work with spatial concepts.

* Strong computer skills (database, word processing) and navigational ability among various business system software

* Proven ability to multi-task.

* Organizational skills to maintain files and records effectively.
