Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for a 6+month contract opportunity located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This role is fully onsite. Prepares purchase orders and communicates with vendors regarding requirements. Maintains accurate and organized purchasing and supplier files subject to audit. Maintains vendor relationships and metrics while driving continuous improvement efforts. Works closely with the production scheduler to enable accurate forecasting and delivery schedules. Collaborates with all departments to ensure on-time delivery. Planning Responsibilities:

Responsible for prioritizing work to meet customer demands and communicating the work with supervisors. Responsible for the control of data, including gathering and distributing all information needed to complete work. Tracking and monitoring the progress and quality of sub-vendors and suppliers, both in the USA and abroad. Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Business Administration (or a related field) or 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Ability to read engineering/blueprints drawings preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems is a must. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment and maintain a high degree of professionalism. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficient in Windchill preferred. Pay Rate: $26.24 - $28.00/hour Meet Your Recruiter
