INTRODUCTION:

This position will be responsible for all aspects of customer service to both external and internal clientele. Responsible for daily customer service activities such as answering inbound customer calls and emails, quoting,order entry, order management, and first-line technical and customer support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Answers customer calls as a member of the Distribution Inside Sales Team.
  • Prepares quotes and enters orders in SAP for customers received via phone, fax, and email.
  • Understands and provides first-line technical information to customers utilizing equipment manuals,schematics, parts lists, blueprints, electronic databases & card files.
  • Researches unique and alternate solutions for customers while collaborating with Sourcing & TechnicalParts Support.
  • Works with Technical Parts Support and Pricing to add new or update existing materials in SAP, tracking, and following to completion.
  • Consults with sales teams, purchasing groups, design team, sourcing, logistics.
  • Initiates, tracks, and follows up on quote requests, and lead time requests.
  • Provides a direct contact link for sales and external customers.
  • Upsells, by recommending and selling items additional to initial inquiry.
  • Identifies customer and internal sales/service needs, based on effective communication.
  • Reviews and prepares responses to inquiries from Customers for the Mining Services market, crushing andscreening products within the CSR's allocated territory, and Cover other CSR's workloadduring peak activity and/or absence.
  • Performs instructional classroom and OJT training for new employees.
  • Facilitates critical customer service requests across departments.
  • Assigned to work after-hours and occasional weekends for emergency duty.

    WHO YOU ARE:
    • Associate's degree in technical field or business. Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years' customer service or related experience ortechnical knowledge/experience in the industry with product familiarity, p revious experience in a mining-related position would be deemed an asset.
    • Ability to understand equipment manuals, schematics, parts lists, & blueprints.
    • Understanding of product terminology and part numbers; continual learning about basic technicalaspectsof products preferred.
    • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, basic Excel, Access, and Powerpoint), email, and the Internet.
    • SAP, MFG-Pro, and ATON software experience and asset.
