Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the fleet, including maintenance, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Position duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure fleet efficiency
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections and registrations
  • Manage fuel purchases and track fuel consumption
  • Monitor and assess existing driver behavior and performance
  • Train new company drivers according to company and DOT standards
  • Schedule regular vehicle servicing to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Analyze fleet data to optimize operations and reduce costs
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and minimum of five years' driving experience with clean driving record
  • Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Certification in Fleet Management
  • Proficiency in fleet management software
