Benefits medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, strong safety culture, and much moreSchedule Must be flexible & available weekendsMonday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pmSaturday - Sunday: OFFEssential Duties: Greets all internal/external visitors, vendors, etc., entering the department.Opens sorts and distributes all mail. Sorts and files department paperwork.Answers and screens telephone calls and routes to appropriate departmental staff personnel.Drafts, updates and revises correspondence as requested.If designated, assist with setting up appointments for Department Manager/Supervisor.Maintains and updates internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, logs, etc.Monitors supply usage within the department and places orders when necessary.Assist division with travel arrangements.Maintains conference room calendars and schedules rooms.Attends department staff meetings, trainings, etc. as needed.Coordinating equipment repairs with third party vendorsCoordinating and planning for 90 day BIT inspectionsOther duties as assigned by manager Qualifications: Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredMust have basic computer proficiency.
Requires experience with Microsoft Office.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple notesBasic mathematical skillsGood listening, communication, follow through and interpersonal skillsGood clerical (filing, copying, faxing, phones, etc.) and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailExperienced with computer software and hardwareWhy US FoodsAt US Foods, we're committed to our mission of GREAT FOOD. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $18.00 and $26.00.
This role is also eligible for overtime compensation.
