The Senior Acquisitions Analyst will utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business challenges and deliver the most effective analyses and recommendations to support acquisitions and corporate sourcing activities such as advanced financial modeling, analyzing key financial metrics and financial statements, preparing in-depth business proposals for Senior Management, identifying and forecasting inventory needs, RFP analysis, supplier performance analysis, and market research.

The Senior Acquisitions Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Strategic Development and help drive best-in-class analytical practices spanning across the Acquisitions and Sourcing departments. This role will support and collaborate in two key areas of the business and will work closely with both internal and external partners to develop pro-formas for new resort development, prepare and complete in-depth business proposals, generate and track rebates, and create and analyze monthly/quarterly spend reports with financial or supplier information. Applying analytical and critical thinking skills, they will assist and lead in various sourcing and acquisition projects. Must be a creative problem solver with excellent written and verbal communications skills. This is a hybrid role, in office Monday - Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.

How You'll Shine
  • Manage, develop, and analyze pro forma projections of revenue/expenses, cash flows, and returns including IRR, NPV, ROIC, and other applicable metrics for all resort development and acquisitions and conduct resulting valuation analysis.
  • Assist and/or lead with the negotiation and review of various types of contracts, i.e., Purchase and Sale Agreements and Master Service agreements.
  • Prepare and complete in-depth business proposals to be used by Senior Management.
  • Identify and forecast business needs, create inventory acquisition plans and the resulting capital required.
  • Develops and maintains reports for savings tracking budget forecasting, spend reporting by category, supplier, etc. to enable decision-making for Strategic Sourcing Category Management.
  • Regularly communicate directly with suppliers assisting with development of RFPs, disputing any discrepancies for rebates, invoicing, and other sourcing needs.
  • Identify reporting needs and create reports as needed to provide data needed by Sourcing management and Key Stakeholders to support the Strategic Sourcing Category Management/Spend and Diversity reporting process.
  • Responsibility to maintain and enhance department reporting platform to be utilized by all members of strategic sourcing leadership team, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting any potential issues.
  • Process Improvement - Develop process flows, identify process constraints and implement improvements to the Department.
  • Manage supply chain relationships and work directly with suppliers to identify additional cost savings and revenue generation through new programs or by expanding existing programs.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required, access databases, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint.
  • Basic understanding of financial metrics, NPV, IRR, DCF, etc.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with senior management and peers
  • Understanding of Strategic Sourcing Category Management and business valuations a plus
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and comfort with data, metrics and statistical methods
  • Oracle, Peoplesoft, and GEP a plus
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial or operational analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or modeling
  • Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements.
  • Experience authoring requirements, definition, and related documentation.
  • Experience developing financial models and understanding the resulting financial metrics, NPV, IRR, DCF.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
