Liability Claims Coordinator
Location: Memphis TN (hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Liability Claims Coordinator . The Claims Coordinator is responsible for assisting the General Liability and Auto Liability teams. The liability claims coordinator will assist the claim adjusters with their investigations, obtain and review police reports, timecards, telematics, surveillance, and any other correspondence related to the claim. Maintain a high volume of email request. Prepare subrogation demands and process checks on claims and recoveries. Review and research liability inquires via email and voicemails. Complete claim searches and attach photos to the claim file. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills with the proper business knowledge to handle time sensitive matters for the company.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct thorough investigations into liability claims, including interviews with claimants and witnesses.
+ Assist the Liability teams with various activities that are related to processing claim correspondence; research inquires and claim handling requests; surveillance; timecards; telematics; employment information; processing checks; preparing subrogation demands and letters; order police reports; assist with new suit assignments; prepare releases and other claim forms and letters.
+ Review surveillance; download and input detailed summaries in the claim notes along with uploading to a SharePoint.
+ Maintain a high volume of email request.
+ 2 or more years of claims handling experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
+ Customer service-oriented mindset.
+ Effective time management and organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) is a plus.
