Headquartered in Italy, IRCA was acquired by Advent International, a global private equity firm, in July 2022. The company has demonstrated a strong history of growth over the past decade. As part of its growth strategy, IRCA made two bolt-on acquisitions in 2022. They acquired Cesarin, a provider of candied fruits, and Anastasi, a supplier of pistachio ingredients. These acquisitions expanded IRCA's product portfolio and market reach. More recently, IRCA acquired the leading manufacturer of sweet and cereal products in Europe and the US. The target company focuses on high-value specialty ingredients for the Food Manufacturers segment. Their product range includes sweet particulates, chocolate confections, baked inclusions, variegates, and fruit purées. This deal, successfully completed in March of 2023, is a transformative move for IRCA, establishing them as a global leader in the semi-finished ingredients industry. With this acquisition, IRCA has a combined revenue of €1 billion in 2023 and a presence in 22 manufacturing facilities across Europe, the US, and Vietnam. This expanded manufacturing footprint and diversified product portfolio positions IRCA as a key player in the market, serving a wide range of customers in the bakery, pastry, and gelato sectors, as well as food manufacturers. The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will be a key member of the FP&A and overall Finance Team. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this position will support the entire FP&A process and function – including annual budgeting, interim forecasting, monthly outlooks, actual reporting, variance analysis, and sensitivity analysis. This role will also specifically support the Procurement function in their analytics around Procurement Savings and other related initiatives. This role is highly visible with senior leadership and will be expected to be able to flex communication from very detailed and granular to summary narrative. We are requiring someone to work onsite at our Duluth, GA site in a hybrid style. Responsibilities Maintain the existing FP&A reporting models and work collaboratively with the Americas and Group teams to continue developing and enhancing. Support the required financial reporting inputs to the various Leadership and Board meeting decks. Perform critical analysis of Monthly results and collect and synthesize business insights on variances. Coordinate and compile inputs for the annual operating budget, interim forecasts, monthly outlooks, and other planning and forecasting activities. Support all budgeting and forecasting for the Americas Corporate and SG&A costs as well as for Working Capital and Cash Flow reporting and forecasting. Provide business analytical support to the Procurement team. Other related tasks, as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. Advanced/Expert-level Excel skills and demonstrable ability to efficiently create complex modeling required. Experience with financial consolidation and reporting such as Hyperion or any other relatable tool. 2+ years of experience with FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing and/or food ingredient company. Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and complete time-sensitive duties with detailed data and inputs across the organization. Meticulous attention to detail with demonstrated ability to think out of the box and problem solve. Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. This is a hands-on position; and a successful candidate will have to roll up their sleeves to succeed.
