APT Research is hiring a full-time
Cost Estimator in Huntsville, AL
to develop independent government cost estimates (IGCEs) to support the Missile Defense Agency. This position is a hybrid work schedule.
APT is an employee-owned engineering services company specializing in conducting safety analyses for the U.S. Government. Responsibilities:
Develop cost estimates using various methodologies
Perform data analysis using CO$TAT and Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and Access tools
Required Experience/Education
:
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
3-5 years of cost estimator experience
Experience in the government/engineering industry
Security Clearance Requirement:
A secret level clearance is required
Essential Job Functions:
Work Environment:
Office environment
Requires clear, concise, accurate, and timely communication
Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management, and customers
Travel Requirements:
Requires ability to travel domestically (within the U.S.)
Physical Requirements:
Requires sitting for extended periods of time
Ability to lift >15 lbs.
