This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in supply chain management, procurement, enterprise technology, project oversight, and analytical skills to support various new business initiatives and strategic sourcing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering customer specifications and managing the RFx process.
  • Supporting negotiations and estimating material costs for proposals aimed at securing new business.
  • Taking ownership of proposals and effectively communicating with various management levels and functional teams.
  • Potential responsibilities may include Supplier Management, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Procurement Tool implementations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required by assignments.

Primary Duties:

Ensure timely and precise material pricing for proposal efforts. You will oversee the request for quote process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Meet cost savings and avoidance targets, utilizing strong negotiation skills. Conduct data analytics and analyze extensive datasets to price Bills of Materials (BOMs). Collaborate within a matrixed organization supporting engineering, program management, and financial functions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in supply chain, logistics, business management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience/education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including functions like V-LookUp, Pivot Tables, and Advanced Formulas.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • US Citizenship is required, with the capability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Basic understanding of acquiring microelectronics, build-to-print, raw materials, IT hardware, software, cloud, cyber, and XaaS technologies.
  • Experience in creating complex solicitations and conducting moderate complexity price and cost analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, pricing, or subcontracts, with a proven track record of developing RFx's that comply with regulations.
  • Understanding of materials and components acquisition, including non-IT finished products, raw materials, fabricated parts, electronic components, machinery, equipment, and testing devices.
  • Possession of a security clearance.
  • Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in data analytics, business intelligence dashboard creation, and IT project management.
