TTGI is expanding our team supporting a UAS Customer on Redstone Arsenal.  The Cost Analyst in this position will support program (and product) leadership with expertise related to predicting, understanding, analyzing and presenting cost data associated with the sustainment of a variety of programs.   The position will require a candidate to understand how to develop cost estimates for government programs, preferably working with related tools (ACEIT, Excel, or similar) to develop, present and defend estimates for programs. Candidate will need to enjoy working closely with a blended team working in a fast paced, high-profile environment in direct support of the warfighter.  

Tasking for this position will include:

  • Develop, update, and maintain Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Program Office Estimates (POEs), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
  • Assist in the development of the Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
  • Prepare and maintain detailed cost estimate documentation for all cost products and deliverables
  • Discuss and Defend cost estimating methodologies to senior leadership and Cost Review Board (CRB) members
  • Translate technical system requirements into cost elements while developing Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs)
  • Analyze historical learning and rate curve data and incorporate methodology into cost estimates
  • Assist in the development of Contractor Software Data Report (CSDR) plans
  • Support development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) briefings to include program funding and cost requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
  • Position requires candidate to have experience in supporting one (or more) of the following tasks:   Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Pricing for government contracts, Business Case Analysis, and Economic Analyses
  • Experience preparing detailed written reports and/or briefings suitable for presentation to senior level military and corporate leadership is expected in this role
  • Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of concepts, principles, and procedures for performing cost analyses and estimates (e.g., learning curves, Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), data collection and adjustment, normalization, overhead rate analysis, production rate analysis, fixed and variable costs, and treatment of inflation)
  • Experience working with ACEIT is desired but not required
  • Knowledge of materiel acquisition and life cycle management policies and procedures is a plus
