This role requires specialized depth and/or breadth of technology expertise and will be responsible for coordinating work and collaborating with business and various workstreams (ERP, contract rationalization, Facilities, QA, IT, Legal). The position will assist with the development and implementation of spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for gathering specifications and purchasing supplies, equipment, and services for the organization. They oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Their expertise lies in negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and managing supplier relationships. Additionally, they analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost management to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. #LI-Hybrid Responsibilities Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies. Negotiate contracts with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues. Foster strong relationships with suppliers. Process Improvement: Streamline procurement processes. Seek innovative solutions. IT Expertise: Understand IT contract terms and conditions especially regarding data security and ownership, SaaS/Cloud agreements, Support and Maintenance Agreements, Service Level Agreements, etc. Lead purchasing strategies for the IT category. Work closely with technology and business stakeholders. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years' sourcing/procurement experience or equivalent. Strong negotiation skills and IT sourcing knowledge. Strategic mindset with quantitative, problem-solving, project management, and negotiation skills and a strong desire for progress and continuous improvement.
