As the Specialist, Customer Care, you will handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails and SMS texts for a specific account to ensure that routes and deliveries are scheduled appropriately. This position works with our market managers, carriers and client representatives. **What youll do on a typical day:**

* Route monitoring/dispatching

* Order management (same day, unassigned)

* Provide excellent customer service to assigned client stores

* Record thorough notes with attention to detail in our system(s)

* Communicate with customers and internal associates utilizing technology and problem-solving skills

**What you need to succeed at XPO:**

At a minimum, youll need:

* 1 year of related work experience

* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and other business-related applications

Itd be great if you also have:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2 + years in a Call Center or Route Monitoring/Dispatch environment

* Proficient computer skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to exercise appropriate judgment, especially with upward communication
