Whom You'll Work With In this dynamic, customer-facing role. You will partner directly with one or more account managers and work with an extended team to position software and hardware solutions focused on solving the business and technical problems of our customer. You will work with a team of System Architects, the Sales Team, and an extended ecosystem of Cisco Engineering, Partner, and Services organizations. Everything is supporting and partnering with our customers, failing fast, iterating and moving forward. Who You Are You have a "can-do" demeanor and the ability to work towards a unified goal as part of a hard-working team are key to success here. You are experienced with Cisco's product portfolio and the technology behind it all. You'll need a passion for learning and focus at least one of our major architectures; Service Provider Routing, Data Center & Cloud technologies, IPFM, CDN, and/or Security is a plus. Going deep into the technology will give you a leading edge and make you more relevant to our customers. You will build Influential Relationships: Working collaboratively with customers, channel partners, and account team members to meet business goals and objectives; using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships.

You are Customer Focused: Supporting customers during the sales process; seeking and taking appropriate actions on customer requirements while balancing business needs; resolving difficult issues in a timely and professional manner; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.

You are a Critical Thinker: Identifying and understanding problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to address sales challenges and new opportunities; taking courses of action based on sound analysis and judgment that appropriately considers customer and partner business capabilities, available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Several years of networking/security/data center industry related experience as well as Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area. 5+ years Pre-Sales experience BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent. Preferred Skills: CCNP CCDP or similar vendor Certification A strong multi-domain skillset across Collaboration, Campus and Branch Networks, Security, Data Center and Cloud and IoT Network Automation using API's and Python Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively and cover for a teammate in a pinch.
