Position Summary:
- The role of a Green Stormwater Infrastructure Specialist involves advocating for and promoting advanced engineered solutions to key stakeholders, including civil engineers, municipalities, and landscape architects. This position is pivotal in integrating these solutions into diverse projects and designs.

This role offers flexibility with remote work options while primarily supporting clients in the New England region. Regular travel within this area is required, and candidates should ideally reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, or Vermont. When not traveling, the specialist will have the opportunity to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, civil engineers, landscape architects, and developers.
  • Increase awareness of Ferguson's Geo/Stormwater products through participation in industry events such as tradeshows and conferences.
  • Deliver technical presentations throughout the designated territory.
  • Engage with end users, engineering firms, and contractors to identify project opportunities and enhance product visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Design Engineer/Technical Designer to navigate projects through the specification phase.
  • Support the national growth objectives of the Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management team.
  • Investigate local green infrastructure regulations to formulate targeted sales strategies.
  • Assist contractors and municipalities in the installation and upkeep of green infrastructure technologies.
  • Work closely with the Ferguson sales team and Municipal sales associates.
  • Provide timely updates on project developments and sales activities.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Engineering license is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management products.
  • Experience in technical writing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and various software systems.
  • Basic reporting capabilities using Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and prioritize effectively.

Compensation:

$55,240.00 annually
