Job Summary and Qualifications

Serve as the primary liaison between the Education Department and Medical Staff Services in relation to Advanced Practice Professional Students.

Serve as the primary liaison between the Academic Affairs Department and Medical Staff Services in relation to Observation requests.

Participate in facility evaluation of current needs surrounding Advanced Practice Professional students and observers.

Facilitate review, assessment, and authenticated documentation of an evaluation of each application and request for observation and student rotation.

Facilitate review, assessment, and recommendations on a quarterly basis with facility Medical Executive Committees.

Utilize paper-lite procedures

What qualifications you will need:

Associates Degree preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology

Two (2) years experience as a Medical Staff Coordinator or Credentialing Specialist

Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) as a Certified Professional Medical Staff Manager (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred

Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with physicians and physician office staff. Detail oriented with analytical skills

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
