John Zink is looking for a Rental Sales Specialist in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be part of the combustion rental team As part of the rental team, the selected individual will work to provide rental solutions in the vapor control, biogas and process flare markets. The successful candidate will be technically strong, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to collaborate to create long term value for our customers & John Zink. This role will also be involved with new rental equipment fabrication to contribute to growth of the business.

The rental business is fast paced, high margin and requires team members who can wear multiple hats. Previous sales, applications engineering, and/or project management experience is preferred.

What You Will Do
  • Manage a fast-paced sales environment and quick response time requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Own the client relationship and proposal generation process from initial client contact through order acceptance.
  • Develop technical and commercial proposals that communicate the value and mutual benefit of our proposed equipment and service solutions directly to our customers.
  • Engage with customers in person and virtually, to customize and optimize the rental solution to meet diverse customer-specific needs.
  • Leverage the vast expertise across John Zink and Koch Engineered Solution's global team to develop unique, value-added Equipment and Turnkey Solutions for our clients.
  • Work with the execution team to ensure an accurate turnover package and up to date schedules for new equipment builds.
  • Identify innovative equipment solutions to help drive business growth.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Sales and/or project management experience.
  • Have an entrepreneurial approach in creating long term customer value.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
  • The ability to safely work with customers at their global manufacturing facilities using appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to obtain passport and TWIC within 3 months of start date.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Work experience in engineering, sales, system/process design, or project management experience within an "engineered to order" manufacturing environment.
  • Industry specific knowledge in vapor, flaring and biogas markets.
  • Previous experience in rental equipment business.
