Sales Assistance Specialist
This role is crucial to the success of our sales team at Brady Industries. Sales Assistance Specialists are tasked with delivering support to assigned Sales Representatives and their clientele. This involves ensuring the quality and reliability of product and service delivery by engaging with customers to understand their requirements. Responsibilities include providing product information, addressing service issues, and managing orders through various communication channels.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required; some college education is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service setting; experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the sale of company products and services to existing and prospective clients through quotes, emails, and phone communications.
- Handle customer service inquiries, process orders, and assist in resolving issues while managing multiple customer accounts.
- Act as the primary contact for sales representatives, aiding in the management of open orders, sales returns, and customer purchase orders.
- Assist in coordinating logistics for sales representatives, including scheduling customer appointments as necessary.
- Identify sales opportunities through pricing adjustments and schedule demonstrations of new or improved product lines.
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated from field activities as required.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and align with company initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments to fulfill customer needs and effectively close sales.
- Seek opportunities to promote deadstock to customers where feasible.
- Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing initiatives.
