Description

What You'll Do:

As the Program Analyst, you will support work within NAVAIR's Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office, PMA-271. This position will support a new Navy acquisition program (E-XX) in developing and certifying a top-secret collateral network within the DoD and its industry partners.

Your responsibilities as our Program Analyst will include:

  • Providing program/project management support to the Top-Secret Infrastructure (TSI) Team in the development of a new top secret (TS) network
  • Assisting the PMA-271 acquisition team with preparation for Navy gate reviews
  • Leading weekly team meetings, status calls with industry partners, and coordinating with the DAiTA Group and DNA Department
  • Coordinating with the NAVAIR Systems Security Office and NAVAIR Cyber for physical and network connections to define requirements and solutions to certify the TS infrastructure, enabling it to receive authority to operate (ATO) for the connections
  • Monitoring and reporting the status of selected sites receiving top-secret (TS) infrastructure equipment to ensure they achieve their Authority to Operate (ATO)
  • Facilitating meetings, recording minutes, tracking schedules, and participating in the engineering risk management process
  • Reviewing relevant documentation and artifacts for the establishment TS network connections
  • Participating in Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)

Requirements

Who You Are:

The Program Analyst will have the following education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is desired, or an associate's degree and 4 additional years of related experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a program analyst/management role is required. 2 years of technical or IT experience supporting a major weapon system, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing program/project status and schedules, and analyzing/interpreting program technical and financial data
  • Familiarity with NAVAIR, SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS and life-cycle management of military acquisition programs is desired
