The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program Analyst will be instrumental in providing support to PMA-202 within the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This role is primarily focused on delivering technical expertise and assistance in the management of Foreign Military Sales initiatives, ensuring the effective integration and maintenance of the FMS Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS).
The Aircrew Systems program office (PMA-202) encompasses all systems that directly aid aircrew, troops, or passengers in executing their missions. This includes the functional components, internal and external interfaces, and the environment necessary to enhance human performance, protection, and sustainability in aviation operations.
PMA-202 is dedicated to analyzing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that guarantee warfighters are equipped with aircrew systems that are "Ready to Fight Tonight," throughout all phases of naval aviation, with the capability and capacity to "Win the Future."
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes analytical methods to assess program/project objectives, including requirements, status, budget, and timelines.
- Conducts management, technical, or business case evaluations.
- Gathers, organizes, and interprets data related to ALSS acquisition and product initiatives.
- Monitors program/project progress and timelines.
- Implements government-mandated processes for documentation, change control, and data management.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in presentation skills, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities; ability to evaluate, apply, and suggest enhancements to established business processes.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic program office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook) is required.
- An active secret level security clearance is mandatory.
