If so, you might be just the person we are looking for to fill our Site Reliability Engineering role at Pizza Hut. Site Reliability Engineers are just as adept at software engineering as they are able to be at their best in the crunch of a production outage. They get the true meaning of the phrase "work smarter, not harder", and are able to bring their enormous technical and troubleshooting skill set to bear to help improve speed and efficiency for the organization they are a part of. Pizza Hut is seeking just this kind of person to join our Compliance/Security engineering team to ensure that we are compliant and secure as we continue to scale our cutting-edge container-based cloud hosted solutions. In this role, you will work across multiple product and engineering teams to help bring those solutions into compliance in a safe and supportable way. You will contribute to designing and implementing improvements to our build pipelines & our monitoring and support strategy.

Your time will be split between several SRE Disciplines including:
  • Resolving infrastructure security vulnerabilities identified in AWS for enterprise applications (you bring the AWS know-how and we'll help you skill up on the security side).
  • Collaborate on proactive monitoring and alerting solution using PH tools on SRE Golden Signals
  • Work with the dev teams to ensure that they are compliance and security focused while they progress code from development to production.
  • Ensure PCI, NIST, CCPA compliance standards will be adhered to while also driving security best practices and remediation.
  • Able to support off-hours work on a weekly on-call rotation
  • Drive automation in everything we do.
Minimum Requirements (will consider any 4 of the 6 requirements below)
  • 4+ years systems programming/scripting experience. i.e. writing backend systems and tools using a mix of Python, GO, Bash, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience with enterprise level cloud technologies and networking (AWS)
  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps pipeline and CI/CD methodology
  • 2+ years administering linux based infrastructure
  • 2+ years working with REST APIs as both an API provider as well as consumer
  • 1+ experience in large scale monitoring platforms like Splunk, NewRelic and OpsGenie
Preferred Requirements:
  • AWS Solutions Architect - Professional
  • CyberSecurity Certification
  • Experience with compliance in some form (NIST, PCI, CCPA, ISO, etc.)
  • Experience running all tiers of application infrastructure including web servers, app servers, databases, etc.
  • Experience with build systems & pipelining with tools such as Circle CI, Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, and Spinnaker
  • Experience with CDN providers like Cloudflare and Akamai
