"INTERVIEWS will be set up via MS Teams" ***Onboarding includes 4 day, 8 hours per day online training at Practice location.*** Job Summary: The Patient Service Representative (PSR) serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth patient flow. The PSR is responsible for patient registration, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling patient inquiries. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care. Key Responsibilities: Front desk: check in, check out, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with questions and routing messages to providers, relaying messages to patients from providers (administrative), scanning, opening mail, mailing out letters / orders to patients, faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned. Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Register patients by collecting and verifying accurate personal, insurance, and financial information. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the electronic health records (EHR) system. Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
