**T****his position will be responsible for:**

Mammo PSR will be responsible for assisting the care centers in coordinating our patients annual GYN appoint with the patients annual Mammogram to achieve a one visit, one location experience.

The PSR will contact our current patients to explain the benefit of same day service, coordinate appointments and be an advocate for the patient and Mammography services

* Working closely with office staff and breast center staff to ensure mammography schedule is filled to capacity.

* Accurately identify age-appropriate patients from master schedules and/or appropriate electronic health records systems (EMR).

* Contact patients over the phone to educate on 3D mammography and offer available appointments and ultimately book their services.

* Assist patient in obtaining previous Mammography images from outside centers prior to the patients appointment

* Provide explanation of mammography services and the importance of patient compliance both internally to the office staff, leadership and providers as well as externally to patients.

* Schedule mammography and other appointments (such as well-woman exams) on appropriate EMR.

* Enhance the organizations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job deliverables.

* Be an advocate for mammography and help the overall mission of decreasing breast cancer mortality by scheduling as many age eligible patients that are seen during clinic or calling the office.

* Outgoing personality and excellent verbal communication to be able to engage patients over the phone

* Data entry skills and computer knowledge to be able to schedule appointments and work in different electronic medical record systems

* Dependable and self-motivated to be able to work on assignments given on their own without strict supervision

* Multi-tasker and confident to be able to take on tasks assigned and be able to deliver results

* Personable and pleasant personality to be able to work in diverse environments and with a variety of departments being a team player

* Excellent customer service skills as this position will be a direct touchpoint with patients
