This position is part-time (20-29 hours a week)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Manage the front desk of the Hope Center and provide Administrative support to the Hope Center Operations Manger, Hope Center Pastor and volunteers. Serves as a significant representative of NPHX Hope Center by greeting anyone who comes into the building, answering phones, and assisting those in need when they come to the front desk.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Managing the front desk of the Hope center, keeping a warm, friendly, and welcoming reception area.

•Answering incoming phone calls and respond/direct as needed

•Pick up mail and sort as needed.

•Assist guests in filling out registration forms and input information into Excel.

•Assist with Food Pantry and make up Food Bags.

•Assist with sorting clothing and placing in the Warehouse.

•Open and Close Hope Center- locking/unlocking doors, turn on/off lights, etc.

•Manage cleanliness of break room.

•Ensure collateral material is posted on the brochure board.

•Assist with First Friday Events

•Provide administrative support for 4PHX Events.

•Other duties as assigned

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

•Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

•Highly relational- ability to interact with a variety of people in a variety of circumstances.

•Able to handle multiple tasks and understand both the ministry and administrative elements of NPHX Hope Center.

•Be able to lift 30 or more lbs.

•Compassion for those in need

•Bilingual required

•A contagious and healthy Christian walk. Must agree to be a member of NPHX Church.

•A keen eye for aesthetics and details.

•Coachable and a team player.

•Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.

•Ability to effectively manage conflict or other tense/sensitive situations.
