This position bridges the gap between the investment banking team's BI & Reporting needs and the technology team's execution, ensuring accurate and actionable data insights. The role's importance lies in its ability to quickly handle inbound requests and enhancements, improve process efficiency, and contribute to business growth and a competitive edge in the market. The candidate should have extensive experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based applications, web services, and APIs, with a proven track record of reducing operational costs, increasing system efficiency, and improving user engagement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and process incoming data requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Design and implement business intelligence solutions using DealCloud and Qlik Sense. Address and clear existing backlogs of reporting requests. Develop and standardize reporting frameworks. Optimize the use of DealCloud and Qlik Sense for reporting and data analytics. Collaborate with technology teams to bridge reporting requirements and technical execution. Utilize SQL Server for database management and query execution - must have extensive SQL experience. Apply a hybrid use of agile and waterfall methodologies for project management. Create specialized reports and dashboards tailored to investment banking workflows. Work with finance teams to implement billing software applications, developing complex PnL structures and templates. Design, develop, and implement data reconciliation applications, with advanced reports and workflows. Develop secure company partnership equity applications and automate manual tasks using Power Automate. Design and develop corporate websites, secure client portals, and multi-departmental web-based SharePoint solutions. Design and build tools for seamless data synchronization across different systems within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain CRM applications and integrations. Work on and improve Office365 migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations. Administer and manage Power Platform, including developing custom workflows and solutions to streamline business processes. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of: Business Intelligence Tools and Technologies: Proficient in using BI and reporting applications Qlik Sense and DealCloud or similar tools to develop and maintain cloud-based applications, web services, and APIs. SQL Server and Relational Database Management: Extensive experience in designing and managing SQL Server databases, ensuring seamless data synchronization and integration with various external systems such as DealCloud/Salesforce, and Workday. Investment Banking and Financial Workflows: Deep understanding of investment banking operations, including developing applications for revenue management, trade confirmation, and partner equity management. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Methodologies: Proven expertise in the complete SDLC, from requirement gathering to deployment, and experience with project management methodologies to ensure successful project delivery. Financial Data Analysis and Interpretation: Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, develop advanced reports, and create visualizations to support decision-making processes. Advanced Data Analytics and Visualization Techniques: Expertise in developing dashboards and advanced reports using tools like QlikView and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Standardized Reporting Frameworks within the Investment Banking Sector: Experience in creating standardized reporting frameworks and corporate-branded reports to support various user roles and business needs. Data Processing and Management Principles: Strong knowledge of data processing and management principles to ensure accurate and efficient data handling. Securities Industry Operations: Familiarity with the operations and workflows within the securities industry, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial applications. Skill in: SQL Server and/or Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Snowflake). Python Data Analysis. DealCloud or Similar CRM SaaS Software (Salesforce, MS 365 Dynamics, etc.). Qlik Sense. Education/Previous Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience or combination of education, training and experience OR any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. Preferred Qualifications: Programming Languages: Proficient in SQL, Python, HTML, and Field Codes. Database Management: SQL Server and Oracle. Web Technologies: RESTful APIs, working with JSON, XML.
