BASIC PURPOSE : Work cross functionally with Business and IT stakeholders to ensure IT products for external and internal customers deliver exceptional results and optimal value.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead without power with diverse stakeholders while driving results; identifying and removing blockers, coaching the team for continuous improvements and keeping the team focused on delivering a quality product on time.
  • Able to Manage QA and BA resources who may directly report to this role
  • Manage a portfolio of business applications and solutions (Vendor and/or Internally Created).
  • Process inbound requests for features and enhancements and work with the appropriate business team(s) to understand the market, latest trends, customer, and stakeholder needs and desired outcomes.
  • Work jointly with internal & vendor stakeholders to create "Current State," "Future State" process, data, and integration flows for requested features.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes and use data, and stakeholder insights to develop strategies for enhancing or further developing compelling user experiences.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Product, Legal, Finance and Customer Support to draw out solution intent with capability roadmap and milestones. Facilitate architecture runway with development leads, influence technical design to ensure it aligns with business objectives.
  • Define measurable goals and metrics, set priorities, and run a backlog of features and functionality; work with engineering, design, and QA to meet those requirements.
  • Build and prioritize short, medium, and long-term roadmaps and determine the best implementation method and schedule. Facilitate thoughtful trade-off discussions to balance quality, customer value, cost, and schedule.
  • Assess and report on the status and results of initiatives against key performance indicator targets.
  • Provide consultation and ensure continuity with product and development teams on solution.
  • Lead small and large meetings within IT and with other business stakeholders for Solution Architecting, Prioritization, Scrum

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or business or other related field or equivalent experience and/or certification.

· Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar Business Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner type role.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of business and product strategy to present, align and influence decision-making of concepts, prioritization and business rationale to stakeholders and senior leaders within TVC and Love's.
  • Experience in Agile methodology as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, and/or Scrum Master.
  • Experience supporting SDLC lifecycle utilizing and customizing Azure Dev Ops Board and Work Item processes.
  • Experience with the following areas of focus a plus: CRM packages (Salesforce, Hubspot), ERP packages (SAP, Oracle), BI tools, Accounting Packages (Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics 365, Great Plains, Netsuite).
  • Experience in Software Release Management and Change Management best practices.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Skills:

  • Moderate to expert-level knowledge of ADO, JIRA or other agile tools to measure team productivity and report metrics
  • Skilled in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Working knowledge of databases, system integration skills, database design, SQL, and data structures.
  • Outstanding communication skills, analytical aptitude, business acumen, client focus, critical thinking skills and technical initiative.
  • Proficiently understands customer requirements; easily troubleshoots and solves problems with minimal to no supervision and direction; adept at researching and making fact-based, data backed decisions; highly skilled at developing relationships outside of IT.
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of tools, including Teams, Word, Visio, Excel, Project/Planner, or equivalents.
  • Experience with diagramming techniques including process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, architecture diagrams, entity relationship diagrams.
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams up and down the organization.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
