Position Overview:
The Enterprise Risk Governance Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating the governance of TE's enterprise risk management initiatives and processes.
As part of the Enterprise Risk and Security Management (ERSM) team, this position is essential in ensuring that TE adheres to appropriate risk management practices in line with established enterprise risk management policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the governance of TE's annual integrated risk assessment program, which includes coordinating and scheduling recurring risk assessment activities such as interviews, surveys, and pressure tests, while serving as a liaison and ERM support to various TE businesses and functions.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments under guidance utilizing TE's governance, risk, and compliance tools for identified enterprise and principal risks.
- Ensure thorough reviews of financial implications related to operational risks, root cause analyses of incidents, and business impact assessments.
- Assist ERM initiatives with metrics-driven products, including operational and organizational analytics, to align with TEOA and promote continuous improvement.
- Act as a program analyst for special projects that involve multiple ERSM and external stakeholders.
- Support the Director of ERM with departmental initiatives as needed.
- Help maintain and govern risk mitigation tracking tools for identified enterprise and principal risks, along with TE resources such as SharePoint.
- Stay informed about current industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and sustain technical expertise in systems and data to ensure optimal technology utilization.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally with a focus in a relevant field (such as international relations, Asian and American studies, or law), or a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within the public or private sector.
Essential skills include strong organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities, along with exceptional time management. Proficiency in project management and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) is required, as well as skills in data visualization and metrics platforms.
Flexibility to accommodate meetings with global colleagues across different time zones and support crisis activations is essential.
Preferred qualifications include training and/or certifications in Enterprise Risk Management or Project Management.
