Looking to apply your experience and expertise to a purpose-driven, operationally focused, and growing team making a positive impact in the world? The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) reports to the VP, Finance with responsibility for leading all planning cycles and FP&A activities at Soligent. This is a highly visible position which requires the ability to interact with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally. The Director of FP&A is also responsible for financial reporting, cash planning, project modeling and analysis.

Helps Soligent Make a Positive Impact by:
  • Leading the organization through the variance financial planning cycles: budgeting, forecasting and multi-year strategy.
  • Developing and leading a high-performing team driving FP&A, pricing, and reporting.
  • Managing and delivering monthly variance analysis on the income and balance sheet statements vs budget, forecast and prior periods.
  • Cross-collaborating to develop financial business cases supporting various projects across the organization.
  • Owning cash forecasting modeling.
  • Developing and managing key performance indicators, both financial and non-financials.
  • Owning and driving all cash modeling and forecasting.
  • Driving margin improvement by explaining price, mix and cost variances.
  • Managing all operational expenses via explaining variances and partnering across the organization to reduce unnecessary expenses and optimize cost.
  • Building driver-based modeling to forecast and budget.
  • Driving scenario and ROI analysis for capital investments and major operational spending.
  • Partnering with colleagues globally to drive best-in-class financial processes.
  • Owning all financial reporting for the organization.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Leveraging technical to automate and drive efficiencies.
  • Supporting and assisting in annual financial audits.
  • Developing and automating financial presentations.
  • Acting as an owner of all financial planning.
  • Supporting all ad-hoc reporting needs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills/Proficiencies:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent with concentration in Accounting / Business.
  • Preferred MBA or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other Business Field.
  • 7 - 10 years related experience with growing responsibilities.
  • Big Four experience is desirable.
  • 3-5 years managing forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reports.
  • 2+ years of direct people leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
  • Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
  • Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
  • Proven ability to perform and apply accounting research (i.e. GAAP).
  • Pro-active leader with the ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Proven leadership skills and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
  • Prior experience supervising accounting departments and personnel.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word, NetSuite Accounting software experience a plus
