NOVA is seeking a Senior Accountant based in our Kennesaw, GA office (Corporate Headquarters) and will assist in the day-to-day and month-end accounting to ensure the financial statements and reports are completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, ability to work cross functionally and positive attitude to serve others. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Month/year-end closing Prepare various journal entries, accruals and reclasses Prepare payroll and sales commission related journal entries Prepare the bank reconciliation Reconcile the balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies Assist with review and approval of payment requests (AP, Expense Reports) Maintain the fixed asset register and capital expenditure supports Record monthly depreciation entries Perform financial data analysis and solve problems Assists with the external audits, taxes, and business registrations Assists with the annual budget process Assist with business licenses and tax filings Adhere to company policies and procedures Comply with all applicable laws and regulations Other duties and special projects as assigned ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and/or business required. MBA/Mastered preferred.
