In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our growing multiple 7-figure marketing agency business. Reporting to Co-CEO John Corcoran, you will collaborate closely with our fractional CFO to create budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly financial reviews. Your insights will be crucial in guiding executive management on strategic hiring, spending decisions, and operational challenges. Key Responsibilities: Develop annual budget processes and recommend financial budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance objectives. Implement recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review and forecasting processes to enhance financial reporting and communication across the organization. Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, and business conditions, providing actionable insights to support strategic planning. Conduct detailed analysis of operational performance to evaluate progress towards goals and recommend adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with our Controller and fractional CFO to identify revenue and spending trends, providing recommendations for improved efficiency and performance. Review monthly financial statements, analyze budget variances, and provide detailed variance explanations and mitigation strategies. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to support decision-making processes and optimize business operations. Oversee quality control of monthly accounting close processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data. Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis for client projects and initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills: 5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience, preferably in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; experience in a marketing agency is a plus. Strong self-starter who thrives in a virtual, people-oriented organization. Excellent communication skills via email and Slack. Proficient in English with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work. Highly organized and adept at using Google Drive for document management. Access to reliable Internet services.
